The wind moderates and starts taking on a more southerly direction.  There is squall after squall, but none of them packs any punch. At worst we have to roll up the jib a bit to level out the ride, and change course at the wind changes for the squall passage. The raw water pump continues to be a problem, though we have found that opening a locker door and placing one of the cabin fans blowing in the engine room “cures” the problem. Apparently the pump overheats and stops pumping.
