In November of 1999 we traveled to 
France to visit the Catana Factory and sail a Catana 431.

Finally the center section and the outer hull are joined.

img013.jpg (487408 bytes) The underside of a 431. Notice the Lexan hatch on the left hull. This is the "escape" hatch. Just incase you flip it. The other hatch on the center hull is for accessing the life raft. It can be opened from above or below.

The platform can be raised 15' and tilted 45 degrees.
